Ministries at CC River Cities

^{Before serving, we ask that everyone attends in-person services at CC River Cities regularly for at least six months, either on Sundays and, or Wednesdays. We also request that all servants actively participate in small groups or Bible studies. This allows those who want to serve to build a solid reputation that others in the church can affirm. In addition, we will conduct a background check for each individual. The safety of our church community is a priority, and this process helps us continue protecting the congregation.}

_{^{Level 1: Cleaning, Parking, Greeting, Ushers, Audio/Visual, Media, Security, Medical}}

_{• Must be saved (Born Again as explained by Jesus in}_{John 3:1-8}_{)
• Must be baptized or planning on getting water baptized
• Must have attended Calvary Chapel River Cities weekly for at least six months
• Must have completed a Ministry Application
• Must have attended or be scheduled to attend the "}_{Foundations of the Faith}_{" Class
• Must have read “}_{Calvary Distinctives}_{” by Chuck Smith
• Must have read “}_{On Being a Servant of God}_{” by Warren Wiersbe
• Must have interviewed with the Ministry Lead and Senior Pastor}

^{_{Level 2: Nursery, Prayer Team, Marriage Ministry}}

^{• Must have met the above criteria in Level I
• Must have read “}^{The Philosophy of Ministry of Calvary Chapel}^{” by Pastor Chuck Smith
• Must have attended Calvary Chapel River Cities weekly for at least twelve months
• Must have interviewed with the Ministry Lead and Senior Pastor}

^{_{Level 3: Children's, Youth, Young Adults, Worship, Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Home Fellowship Leaders, Ministry Leads, Bible Teachers, Deacons}}

^{• Must have met above criteria in Levels I and II}
^{• Must have read "}^{Calvinism, Arminianism, and the Word of God}^{" by Pastor Chuck Smith}
^{• Must have read “}^{Living Water, the power of the Holy Spirit in your life}^{” by Chuck Smith}
^{• Must have read “}^{Gospel According to Grace}^{” by Chuck Smith}
^{• Must have read “}^{Why Grace Changes Everything}^{” by Chuck Smith}
^{• (Deacons) Must meet the qualifications of a deacon (Qualifications seen in}^{1 Timothy 3:8-13}^;^{Acts 6:3}⁾
^{• Must have attended Calvary Chapel River Cities weekly for at least twelve months}
^{• Must have interviewed with the Ministry Lead and Senior Pastor}

^{_{Level 4: Pastors/Elders}}

^{• Must have met the above criteria in Levels I, II, III}
^{• Must have met the qualifications of the Pastor/Elder/Overseer (Qualifications seen in}^{1 Timothy 3:1-7}^;^{Titus 1:5-9}^{; and}^{1 Peter 5:1-4}⁾
^{• Must have completed a Biblical Counseling Class (Or must have read "Counseling God's Way" by Bob Hoekstra)}
^{• Must have read "Second" by L.E. Romaine}
^{• Must have Pastoral approval}
